I Just Don't Want to Shame My Daddy's Name:

Tanya’s first book, May I Please Speak with My Father?, was
designed for women to explore how their relationships with
their earthly fathers impact their relationships with God.
However, after receiving just as much feedback from men
on her book, she realized that a book needed to be designed
especially by them and for them.
I Just Don’t Want to Shame
My Daddy’s Name is that book. |

What
an Impact a Father Can Make!
For
some reason, its often hard for women to see God as our Father.
He seems so distant, and we often feel dread in His presence. We know
the Bible says He is loving, so what could be our problem?
What
we need to realize is how the presence or absence of our fathers helps
or hinders our relationship with God. The book May I Please Speak with
my Father? enables women to share with other women how their relationships
with their earthly fathers have impacted their relationship with their
heavenly Father.
The
books unique interactive format combines not only Tanyas
stories but the stories of four other women who have all been fathered
differently. These varied stories give the book the feel of a coffee
shop conversation being overheard. Readers can then answer journaling
questions so they can explore their own relationships with their fathers
and with God. A special extended journal section at the end of the book
lets the reader write their own story to complete the book.
May
I Please Speak with my Father? is a great resource for book clubs,
Fathers Day gifts, and church groups. While the book is designed
for women, men have also enjoyed reading it. Daughters can fill it out
to give to their dads, and dads can fill it out to give to their daughters.
